PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary drum type game machine capable of preventing a player from easily losing eagerness for the play. SOLUTION: In the rotary drum type game machine such as a slot machine, an advantageous privilege is given to the player from a combination of symbols which can not be recognized as anything but failure by the player, in addition to a privilege (a bonus game) obtained when the player can arrange special winning symbols. A special bonus game, which can not be easily determined by the player, is started from the combination of symbols which can not be recognized as anything but failure, and when the special bonus game is terminated, the game state is shifted to a game state in which the probability of winning of a replay winning kind is significantly increased. In addition, the game state is shifted to the game state in which the probability of winning the replay winning kind is significantly increased under a certain condition after a regular bonus game is terminated.
