PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an environmental preservation construction method for surely preventing pollutants from diffusing, with a lower cost and less labor for its application. SOLUTION: In the construction method for building a barrier to block the pollutants in a polluted area from moving to its surroundings at the surroundings of the area which has been or may have been polluted, or at a part thereof, the barrier is built for blocking and retaining a liquid containing the pollutants in the area which has been or may have been polluted. Thereafter, cleaning stakes adsorbing or holding or decomposing the contaminants are built at predetermined intervals connecting successively to the barrier. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
