PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sample keeping system for an ointment constituted not only to increase the housing volume of a container but also to simplify the molding of a keeping rack, preventing the falling-off of the container even if the keeping rack is overturned and capable of keeping the container from the keeping rack with high precision. SOLUTION: In the sample keeping system for the ointment having containers each of which seals a sample for the ointment and a keeping rack for vertically housing a plurality of the containers in a matrix state, each of the containers has a square cylindrical cross-sectional shape made fine toward its bottom part and the corner part of the outside surface thereof is chamfered. The keeping rack has a low latticelike bottom parts demarcated in a lattice form inside a rack frame and the bottom part of each of the containers is fitted to one demarcation of the lattice like bottom parts. The keeping rack has the container support pins provided in a vertically upward state from the respective lattice crossing points of the latticelike bottom parts. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
