PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a waterproof plate material for installing an external facing material without causing floating of a nail by minimizing thinning of a wooden backing by preventing rainwater from infiltrating into the wooden backing by going along the nail by installing the widely general external facing material of a building in an optional place. SOLUTION: This belt-like waterproof plate material 3 is formed by sticking metallic thin plates 7 and 7 to both surfaces of an intermediate material 6 composed of a rubber-based plate material, and the intermediate material 6 has waterproof performance and restoring elastic force, and selects a nail drivable construction material. The waterproof plate material 3 easily penetrates the nail 5, and prevents infiltration of the rainwater by sealing the periphery of the nail 5 by restoring force of the intermediate material 6, and at the same time, surrounds the nail 5 by deformation by punching of the metallic thin plates 7. The belt-like waterproof plate material 3 is arranged in response to a nailing place of a roof material, and the nail is driven from a nailing hole by placing the roof material on its plate material, and is penetrated through the waterproof plate material 3, and is driven in and fixed to a backing plate.
