<p>The present invention provides a process for producing a nicotine transdermal preparation, which includes a step of forming, on a support or release liner, an adhesive layer comprising an adhesive and a liquid ingredient compatible with the adhesive, and a step of impregnating the adhesive layer with nicotine by continuously applying nicotine to the adhesive layer. The production method of the present invention permits direct application of nicotine to the adhesive layer, which is not possible by conventional techniques, and the nicotine transdermal preparation provided by the method is associated with less physical skin irritation on peeling off and affords a good feeling during adhesion.</p> |
