#CMT# #/CMT# The antenna has a polarization switching unit (SW 1) whose terminals are connected to zones (Z 1, Z 2). Polarization switching units (SW 2, SW n-1) have terminals connected to the zone (Z 1) and one of other additional zones (Z 3, Z n). The zones (Z 2, Z 3, Z n) are subjected to polarization potentials of respective units (SW 1, SW 2, SW n-1) to control switching states of the units. Each switching unit traverses a space forming slot. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a mobile communication terminal comprising an antenna. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used in a mobile communication terminal (claimed) e.g. mobile telephone of a global system for mobile communication (GSM) mobile telephony system, for transmission over a frequency band comprised between 880 and 960 MHz for GSM 900 system and over a frequency band comprised between 1710 and 1880 MHz for GSM 1800 or digital communication system (DCS), and for a universal mobile telecommunications system (UMTS) type telephony system and a reception part of a GSM 1900 system. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The antenna permits to uncouple the adjustment of low resonant frequencies from the adjustment of high resonant frequencies.
