A battery mounting structure for a vehicle is provided to improve productivity due to a rapid speed of an assembly operation by automatically guiding a connection position of a mounting bracket to fix a battery and a battery tray by a bracket guide unit. A battery mounting structure for a vehicle includes a battery(110), a battery tray(120), a mounting bracket(130), and a bracket guide unit(140). The battery tray is adapted to mount the battery to the bottom of an engine room. One end of the mounting bracket is engaged with the upper surface of the battery tray and the other end thereof fixes the lower end of the battery. The bracket guide unit is vertically installed on the front surface of the battery to guide the mounting bracket to an engagement position of the battery tray. The bracket guide unit includes a pair of slide rails which are installed in the vertical direction on the right and left sides of the front side of the battery so as to be opposite to each other.
