PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide sugarcoating confectionery presenting appropriate cool feeling, having low sweetness and low calorie and relatively inexpensive using less quantity of erythritol compared to a conventional sugarcoating method using erythritol, and to provide a method for producing the confectionery. SOLUTION: This method for producing the confectionery comprises combining 101-500 pts.wt. of maltitol with 100 pts.wt. of erythritol in sugarcoating texture, and dissolving 100 pts.wt. of the sugar mixture in 35-100 pts.wt. of water.
