PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hanger for metal thatching materials, which reduces the consumption of sealers, improves work efficiency and reduces cost. SOLUTION: In the hanger 6, where an engagement piece 14 on one end of the installation plate 12 to be placed over the ground surface of a roof is folded down toward the back of the plate 12 for engaging with a folded piece 11 provided along the upper edge of a metal thatching material 1 and a through-hole 16 for fastening fittings 15 is opened through the installation plate 12, a sealer 17 is adhered to all over the back of the installation plate 12 to close the through-hole 16.
