<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a microcomputer system in which a microcomputer of different specifications of an operating clock can be used in combination of an identical ASIC without increasing the number of ASIC terminals. <P>SOLUTION: The system is provided with the microcomputer 1, the ASIC 2, a reference clock generator 3, and a system reset processor 4 and outputs the operating clock of the microcomputer 1 by dividing/multiplying the reference clock with the ASIC 2. In the system, the microcomputer 1 is provided with an operating clock decision part 101 for deciding whether or not the microcomputer 1 operates in a desired operating clock on the basis of a set value of the operating clock set to the ASIC 2 during power activation. The ASIC 2 is provided with an operating clock switch part 201 for switching operating clock frequencies by an instruction from the microcomputer 1 when it is decided that the operating clock set value in the operating clock decision part 101 is not the desired operating clock frequency and an output terminal 202 for outputting a system reset request signal to the system reset processor 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
