PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fastening tool (paper holder) which is inexpensive and light in weight and substantially hardly generate any sound in adsorption, and particularly which is usable even if an object wall surface is bent. SOLUTION: A rod-shaped fastening tool 1 composed of a band-shaped magnet 2 and a resin body 3. The band-shaped magnet 2 has flexibility and therefore includes an adsorption surface 20 attractable to any of flat and bent object wall surfaces. The resin body 3 comprises a soft and flexible thermoplastic elastomer. The resin body 3 has a cross-sectional surface that is substantially uniform and covers the entire surface of the outer periphery of the magnet 2. The resin body 3 further has skins 30, 31 on the side of the adsorption surface 20 while having a gripping part 39 for gripping by fingers on the opposite side with respect to the adsorption surface 20.
