<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To establish communication efficiently by suppressing communication delay regardless of packet size, and to eliminate the problem of hidden terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A STA quantity holding section 107 counts the number of other STAs in the same cell by a signal received from an STA determination section 105. A backoff setting section 108 stores a table corresponding to the number of STAs in the cell or a calculation formula of offset value, and sets a backoff value by selecting or calculating a corresponding backoff value by using the number of STAs of the information of registered number of terminals in the cell. A packet generating section 109 generates a packet containing the information of the number of terminals and transmission data. A transmission standby section 112 sets a transmission standby time for standing by for transmission by the backoff value, stands by for transmission of the packet for the transmission standby time, and outputs the packet after the transmission standby time elapses. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
