PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a security system for improving security by reducing the risk of information leakage caused by physical intrusion to a plurality of personal computers installed in an administrative compartment. SOLUTION: A network management server 1 executes the monitoring of the authentication state and the inhibition of the log-on of the plurality of personal computers 3 through an HUB device 2. The personal computer 3 identifies a user by using user ID and a password, and switches a log-on state and a log-off state. A locking device 5 is installed at the door of the entrance/exit of an administrative compartment. A locking signal generating device 4 converts the locking state and unlocking state of the locking device 5 into an electric signal.
