PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wind whistle preventive member more effectively preventing wind whistle and manufactured at lower costs than conventional, and a louver equipped with the same. SOLUTION: A fitting groove 3 etc. is longitudinally cut along a side of a columnar body with a necessary length so that it can fit onto the end of a louver piece 1 etc. The wind whistle preventive component uses its external circumference shaped like an incomplete circle in section as an air flow guide surface 2' etc. In the louver, the building-side end of louver piece 1 etc. is fitted into the fitting groove 3 etc. of wind whistle preventive member and fixed with a fixing means.
