PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for carrying out hydrodesulfurization of gasoline containing <0.1 wt.% sulfur and derived from a catalytic cracking apparatus or another conversion apparatus. SOLUTION: The method for carrying out the hydrodesulfurization of the gasoline containing <0.1 wt.% sulfur and derived from the catalytic cracking apparatus or another conversion apparatus comprises a step using a bimetallic catalyst and at least one hydrodesulfurization reactor operated at 0.1-20 h<SP>-1</SP>HSV, 220-350°C temperature and 0.1-5 MPa pressure, and recycling a part of the desulfurized gasoline in an amount of 0.1-3 times as much as the flow rate of the gasoline to be desulfurized to the inlet of the hydrodesulfurization reactor.
