PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To wirelessly transmit image data acquired by a camera housed by a waterproof protector to the other receiver under water. SOLUTION: The camera system is provided with the camera 1 to which a wireless communication unit 9 is attached, the waterproof protector 2 capable of storing the camera 1 and a storage 5 including an intra-storage data processing circuit (not shown), and a camera accessory waterproof protector 3 capable of storing the storage 5; where the camera accessory waterproof protector 3 can be attached and detached to and from the waterproof protector 2, and in the case of attaching the camera accessory waterproof protector 3 to the waterproof protector 2, a watertight state is formed between the waterproof protector 2 and the camera accessory waterproof protector 3.
