<p>PURPOSE:To facilitate a stable biological treatment by a granular solid suspension at a high efficiency, by controlling a dilution rate of the sewage and adding a specified agglutinant to a discharged slurry for cake filtration. CONSTITUTION:A stock solution 1 of night soil (if the night soil is diluted, the dilution rate shall be maintained 5 times or less from the standpoint of a process efficiency), after its admixtures are separated, is carried into an aeration tank 2 fluidizing and suspending about 10vol% of silica sand having grain sizes 0.2-0.3mm. or so. Air 4 is supplied from the bottom part of an airlift pipe 3. In this tank 2, the night soil solution is biologically treated. The silica sand grains are settled and separted from the solution at a carrier separator 5, while SS in the stock solution and SS generated by proliferated bacteria overflow from the separator 5. The outflow solution is carried through a reservoir 7 and a pump 8 to a coagulating reaction vessel 9. In this vessel 9, a cationic high-molecular agglutinant 10 is added and mixed with the solution, so as to carry out coagulation. The solution 12, after the coagulation reaction, is carried to a dehydrator 13 and divided to dehydrated cakes and a filtrate.</p> |
