PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a distribution/bypass switching apparatus for realizing system switching of a digital broadcast signal even when a failure occurs in the distributing system. SOLUTION: The digital broadcast signal inputted by an input switch 11 and a bypass switch 13 is selectively guided to a distribution system 12 and bypass routes 17, 18 using bypass routes 17, 18 for bypassing the distribution system 12. the digital broadcast signal of system 1 distributed with the distribution system 12 with an output switch 14 and the digital broadcast signal of the system 1 having passed the bypass route 17 are selectively outputted to a system switching apparatus 15 in the subsequent stage. The digital broadcast signal of system 2 distributed with the distribution system 12 with an output switch 16 and the digital broadcast signal of the system 2 having passed the bypass route 18 are selectively outputted to the system switching apparatus 15 in the subsequent stage.
