PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an underwater screen display capable of accurately grasping the positional relation with the risk of collision between own ship position and an obstacle, and of the search range thereof. SOLUTION: The distance between the installation position of a transducer section 1 and a specified portion of own ship is acquired by a distance information acquisition section 3, and the specified portion of the own ship is displayed on a cross-sectional echo screen, based on the acquired distance information, so as to exactly grasp the distance between the underwater part of the ship with the risk of the actual collision or the actual grounding and an obstacle position. Position and azimuth information of own ship is also acquired by a position/azimuth information acquisition section, and the information of a detection area detected by the transducer section 1 is displayed on a horizontal coordinate system, based on the acquired position and azimuth information, to readily grasp the horizontal position of a target object.
