METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ELECTROPHOTOGRAPHIC SEAMLESS BELT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an electrophotographic seamless belt excellent in dimensional accuracy, transferring performance and durability. SOLUTION: The electrophotographic seamless belt is manufactured by an injection stretch blow molding process including steps of: forming a preform by injection-molding a thermoplastic resin mixutre; a step of heating the formed preform; primarily stretching the preform in a metal mold with a stretching rod; and secondarily stretching the preform by blowing gas. The temperature of the metal mold for stretch blow molding is regulated to the heating temperature of the preform or below. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
