<p>The invention relates to aerosol formulations for medical suspensions and to the use of some salts as excipients in such formulations. According to the invention, the aerosol formulation for inhalation comprises a pressure liquefied non-toxic propelling substance having the general formula CxHyFz (I) in which X is the number 1, 2 or 3, y and z are each an integer >1 and y+z =2x+2, an efficient amount of a finely devided pharmaceutically active compound suspended in the propelling substance and an excipient selected from calcium, magnesium and zinc salts of palmitic and stearic acid.</p> |
