A key arranging and inputting method is provided to enhance convenience and efficiency by enabling a user to input a wanted character by inputting keys only two times and displaying the inputted character. A key arranging and inputting method comprises the following several steps. The number of "1" is assigned to the 1 key, the alphabetic letters of "a to e" are assigned to the 2 key, and the number of "3" is assigned to the 3 key on the first row of a key inputting unit. The number of "4" is assigned to the 4 key, the alphabetic letters of "f to j" are assigned to the 5 key, and the alphabetic letters of "p to t" is assigned to the 6 key on the second row of the key inputting unit. The number of "7" is assigned to the 7 key, the alphabetic letters of "u to y" are assigned to the 8 key, and the number of "9" is assigned to the 9 key on the third row of the key inputting unit. The symbol of "*" is assigned to the * key, the number of "0" are assigned to the 0 key, and the symbol of "#" is assigned to the # key on the third row of the key inputting unit. |
