The element has a bumper skin (2) with an opening (7), and a presser (3) to receive the skin. A locking unit locks the skin on the presser, and is movable between an unlocking position and a locking position. The locking unit has blocks (6) carried by a shaft (5) fixed to the presser. Each block is moved by rotation and translation of the shaft with respect to the presser between a release position and a position of engagement in the opening. A blocking unit e.g. screw, blocks the shaft in locking position.
