PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a work machining method and a machining system, quickly performing a correction process to improve the work efficiency. SOLUTION: This work machining method includes: a process of setting an aspherical expression representing a designed aspherical shape, and calculating coordinate values including a variable at least in the normal direction of the designed aspherical shape in the aspherical expression; a process of measuring the actual aspherical shape trial-machined based on the coordinate values and calculating a measuring similar deformation magnification; a process of correcting the coordinate values by adding a correction value calculated by a predefined four fundamental rules of arithmetics function from the measuring similar deformation magnification to the variable in the normal direction of at least the designed aspherical shape of the coordinate values so that the designed aspherical shape is corrected to substantially the same shape as the shape formed by similar deformation of the designed aspherical shape at the similar deformation magnification, which is an inverse number of the measuring similar deformation magnification; and a process of finally machining the workpiece based upon the coordinate values after correction.
