EXHAUST GAS PROCESSING SYSTEM AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix an individual exhaust gas processing insert in the axial direction in an exhaust gas processing system 1 of an internal combustion engine, particularly, an internal combustion engine mounted on a motor vehicle.

SOLUTION: This exhaust gas processing system 1 includes a housing 2 and at least one exhaust gas processing insert 3 arranged in the housing 2 and having the peripheral edge wrapped with a carrying material 4. For strengthening a fixation in the axial direction of a position of the exhaust gas processing insert 3 in the housing 2, at least one friction structure 5 is arranged between the carrying material 4 and the housing 2.
