PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organophotoreceptor having high-speed properties and activated gas resistance and capable of producing a good electrophotographic image, a process cartridge, an image forming method and an image forming apparatus. SOLUTION: The organophotoreceptor has a photosensitive layer containing a charge transport material and a compound represented by a general formula (1), wherein the charge transport material is a compound having a triarylamine group and also having at least one or more carbon atoms of which the value of HOMO electron density distribution obtained by semiempirical molecular orbital calculation using an AM1 parameter is≥0.009 on a carbocyclic group which links up indirectly with the N atom of the triarylamine group and exists farthest, and the dipole moment of the compound obtained by the semiempirical molecular orbital calculation is≤0.7 debye.
