<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remotely control even a newly added AV instrument and to easily acquire, from an external database, even remote control construction data for the AV instrument. <P>SOLUTION: A display control apparatus comprises: a reception processing section 117R for receiving information, relating to remote operation, supplied from a display device; a control section 200 for remotely controlling an AV instrument by transmitting, to the AV instrument, remote-operation data D23 in the received information regarding the remote operation; a communication mode, 210 for receiving video information supplied from the AV instrument remotely controlled thereby; and a transmission processing section 117S for transmitting, to the display device, the video information received thereby, in which display information for displaying a remote-operation screen on the display device, and remote control construction data Drc containing the remote-operation data D23 corresponding to operation on the remote-operation screen, are downloaded from the database and distributed to the display device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
