PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bending limiting member which is constituted by combining a plurality of the same parts being integrally constituted, which is easy to designe bendability, which has a high followability to human body joints accompanying behaviors in the twisting direction such as the waist section or the ankle by enabling twistability to be designed independently from the bendability, and which can perform a behavior limitation to the bending and the twisting, and in addition, is rich in durability. SOLUTION: A bending limiting part comprises a side end section, a proximal end section which is extended into an L-shape from one end of the side end section, and at least one comb-like protuberance which is extended from the proximal end section to the side end section side. Also, for the bending limiting part, at least a side being closer to the comb-like protuberances of the side end section, and the central section of the comb-like protuberance have a raised section which swells upward. This bending limiting member is formed by combining the bending limiting parts in such a manner that the comb-like protuberances may alternately be fitted in each other under a rotation-symmetrical state.
