PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a detergent composition for automatic dishwashers which has excellent detergency, inhibits formation of scales, has low corrosion properties on articles to be washed, is safe and environmentally friendly, and particularly exhibits excellent performance in automatic dishwashers. SOLUTION: The detergent composition for automatic dishwashers comprises a silicate as component (A), 0.0125-10,000 pts.mass, based on 100 pts.mass component (A), copolymer of an olefin monomer and an unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer and/or its salt as component (B), and 0.0125-10,000 pts.mass, based on 100 pts.mass-component (A), polymer mainly having an unsaturated carboxylic acid monomer as component (C).
