A variant of Corynebacterium ammoniagenes CJTP-17 is provided to be able to produce the inosine with high concentration and high yield by direct fermentation, thereby capable of economically preparing an inosinic acid through enzyme transfer reaction of the inosine generated by the variant. The variant of Corynebacterium ammoniagenes CJTP-17 has the increased resistance against inosine and improved inosine producing capacity, and is deposited as a deposition number of KCCM-10699P. To produce the inosine, the variant is cultured and then the inosine is collected from the culture solution.
