<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dramatically improve power generation efficiency by rapidly adjusting a fastening load applied to a fuel cell. <P>SOLUTION: This fuel cell system 1 is provided with: the fuel cell 10 having a layered body 12 composed by stacking a plurality of cells 11; a fastening means 20 for making a fastening load act on the layered body 12; and a control means 30 for determining correlation information that indicates a correlation between an output generated at the power generation of the fuel cell 10 and an optimum fastening load corresponding to each output, and an optimum fastening load corresponding to a prescribed target output on the basis of the correlation information, and controlling the fastening means 20 so that the determined optimum fastening load is made to act on the laminated body 12. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
