<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an exhaust muffler capable of securing excellent purifying performance, by enhancing use efficiency of a catalyst, by introducing exhaust gas flowing in a curved-shaped catalyst inlet passage into catalytic converters after being rectified in the uniform distribution without a deviation. <P>SOLUTION: Rectifying plates 62A and 62B restraining a deviation of a flow of the exhaust gas G are arranged in the catalyst inlet passage 61 introducing the exhaust gas G into the catalytic converters 51 and 52 purifying the exhaust gas G from an engine E. These rectifying plates 62A and 62B exhibit the particularly remarkable straitening effect when arranged in a U-shaped folding-back part 49b introducing the exhaust gas G to the catalytic converters 51 and 52 by making a U turn in the catalyst inlet passage 61. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
