摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat dissipation structure enabling duplication of gimbals in an imaging apparatus, securing heat dissipation quantity, and being capable of coping with large power consumption and satisfying particular conditions of being mounted on an airplane. SOLUTION: The heat dissipation structure of the imaging apparatus includes an imaging unit 113 for imaging an object based on an infrared input from an optical window 109 and an optical lens 111, an imaging direction control means having the imaging unit 113 incorporated therein by the intermediary of a damping material 128, for rotating an airtight-formed pitch direction rotating structural body 124 in a pitch direction and a yaw direction, an internal cooling fan 105 for supplying a cool wind into the imaging unit 113. In the above heat dissipation structure, a cooling duct 130 is formed on the rear portion of the pitch direction rotating structural body 124, in which heat dissipation fins 107, 108 and an external cooling fan 104 for introducing external air 122 are provided.
