A plastics module with surface metallic layer, for ensuing electrical contacting of the electrical components, uses a thermal fixture procedure, especially soldering. A layer (4,10) of a thermosetting plastic or a highly thermally stable thermoplastic is applied to the body (2) comprised of a thermoplastics material, at least in the region of the contacting points, and the metal layer (6,11) is applied to the layer (4,10).
