A health supplementary food for diabetic patient containing Helianthus tuberosus(Jerusalem artichoke) as main material together with milk vetch root, silkworm(Bombycis Corpus), Acanthopanax Senticosus and the like is provided. The food has the form of a pill, capsule, suspension, granule, liquid and tablet and is effective in a diabetic patient. The health supplementary food is prepared by mixing Helianthus tuberosus, arrowroot, milk vetch root, silkworm, Acanthopanax Senticosus, pine needle, Viscum album, Cordyceps militaris, Angelica Root, Lycii Fructus and Atractylodis Rhizoma Alba in a ratio of 8:0.1:0.6:0.3:0.3:0.1:0.1:0.1:0.1:0.1: 0.1 and extracting under vacuum. A mulberry leaf, Dioscorea batatas and Rhynchosia volubilis are added in a ratio of 0.1:0.1:0.3:0.2. |
