A snout for a galvanizing line with high removal efficiency of zinc ash is provided to suppress plating defects of the strip due to zinc ash and suppress deterioration of surface quality of a plated strip accordingly by installing dams within the snout, thereby effectively discharging and removing zinc ash generated from the inside of the snout during hot dip galvanizing of a strip. A snout for a galvanizing line with high removal efficiency of zinc ash comprises: a snout body(1) which is connected between a heating furnace for hot dip galvanizing of a strip(100) and a plating bath, and of which a lower end is dipped into the surface of molten metal contained in the bath; dam means(10) installed within a lower end of the snout body to increase sucking and removal efficiency of zinc ash by inducing a flow of the surface of molten zinc into a direction; and suction means(30) connected to the snout body to suck and remove zinc ash together with molten zinc. The dam means comprises a connection plate(12) connected to a lower end portion of the snout body such that the connection plate is sealed, and first and second dams(16,18) which form a strip passing port(14) in the center of the connection plate and are vertically installed, and of which at least one is formed at a position higher than the surface of molten zinc.
