An engine ECU starting control method for an anti-theft of an immobilizer system vehicle is provided to allow a driver not to start an engine through controlling wiring by adding some control logic. An engine ECU starting control method for an anti-theft of an immobilizer system vehicle includes the steps of: (a) sensing whether an input of a battery voltage 12V is input or not; (b) determining whether an immobilizing function is mounted or not in case of identifying a normal wiring state; (c) determining whether an ICU respond signal is input or not in case that immobilizing function is not identified; and (d) performing an anti-theft control operation not to allow the engaging to be started in case that the ICU response signal is input.
