Spectroscopic analyser with charged particles uses a separating membrane system to prevent drift

The spectroscopic analysis system produced free electrons in a generator [2] from an emitter [3]. The electrons are accelerated [4] through a gastight membrane [6] and into an ionising chamber [8] that has an entry and exit [9,10] for the test sample. To prevent the drift from the membrane to the detector a blocking grating is used [11]. The membrane is formed from the oxide, nitride and carbide groups.
