A PET(Polyethylene Terephthalate) cover shield for an LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to attach a cover shield made of PET to an LCD module with stability and improve productivity. An LCD includes a cover bottom(127), a reflector(121) mounted on the cover bottom, a plurality of fluorescent lamps(123) arranged in parallel on the reflector, a support side(125) for fixing the fluorescent lamps, a diffusion plate(129) mounted on the fluorescent lamps, and a plurality of optical sheets(119) located on the diffusion plate. The LCD further includes a support main(117) for enveloping the edges of the diffusion plate and the optical sheets, an LCD panel(113) that is mounted on the optical sheets and has a printed circuit board, a top cover(111) that envelops the edge of the LCD panel and is combined with the support main and the cover bottom, a lamp driving circuit mounted on the backside of the cover bottom, and a cover shield(131) located on the cover bottom. The cover shield includes hooks and is made of PET. |
