A cream-type shampoo composition is provided to improve use feeling by easily forming lamellar structure without additional additives, and increasing softness and spreadability, and enhance stability according to temperature. The cream-type shampoo composition comprises 1-20 wt.% of a supplement surfactant selected from amphoteric surfactant, nonionic surfactant and a mixture thereof, 5-40 wt.% of an anionic surfactant, and 0.1-10 wt.% of a quaternary ammonium cationic surfactant with glyceryl group represented by the formula(1), wherein R1 is C12-C18 linear alkyl group, branched alkyl group or alkenyl group; R2 and R3 are each independently C1-C3 alkyl group; R4 is (CH2CHOHCH2O)nH; n is 1-10, X is halogen atom, sulfate group or acetate group; the amphoteric surfactant is betaine, amidobetaine, sulfobetaine, amphoacetate, diamphoacetate, propionate or glycinate; the nonionic surfactant is laurylate diethanolamide, palm oil fatty acid diethanolamide or palm oil fatty acid monoethanolamide; and the anionic surfactant is sodium lauryl sulfate, ammonium lauryl sulfate, magnesium lauryl sulfate, sodium tridecyl sulfate, lauryl sulfate triethanolamine, polyoxyethylene sodium lauryl sulfate, polyoxyethylene ammonium lauryl sulfate or polyoxyethylene sodium tridecyl sulfate.
