Selection circuits (4) are provided between current generation circuits (3) provided correspondingly to the output terminals (X) of a driver (10) and current sources (5, 6). Either a predetermined current of the current generation circuit (3b) corresponding to each selection circuit (4b) or a predetermined current from the current generation circuits (3a, 3c) adjacent to the current generation circuit (3b) is selected according to the row side scanning. As a result even if there is a variation of the reference current of each current generation circuit (3) or even if the current conversion accuracy of a D/A (5) for conversing the display data according to the reference current is somewhat low, the luminance variation and luminance irregularity of an organic EL display are reduced while suppression an increase of circuit scale.
