<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily convert the resolution of an input image by using a method of AAM. <P>SOLUTION: A resolution converting part 31 converts the resolution of a corrected image P1, and a face detecting part 32 detects a face section P1f from an image P1' after converting the resolution. A re-configuration part 33 applies the face section P1f detected by the face detection part 32 to a mathematical model Mj having the same resolution as that of the image P1' generated by a method of AAM based on a plurality of sample images where the face section of a human being is expressed, and reconfigures an image expressing the face section after application, and acquires an image P2' whose resolution has been converted. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
