PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna whose characteristics change due to its curvature is small, and to provide a radio terminal equipped with the antenna. SOLUTION: The antenna is equipped with an antenna element 52, arranged at portions of the antenna element, and at least equipped with one of a first magnetic substance 54, having positive magnetostriction properties and a second magnetic substance 56 having negative magnetostriction properties. When the antenna 50 is mounted along a curvature or bending portion of radio equipment by bending, the antenna is mounted so that compressive stress is applied to the first magnetic substance, and tensile stress is applied to the second magnetic substance.
