PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermocouple (contact type temperature sensor) to which liquid hardly intrudes, whereas in a conventional thermocouple, a temperature measuring contact (temperature measuring part 64) is not sufficiently fitted to a protective outer sheath (sheath) 65 made of polytetrafluoroethylene because it is covered with an epoxy resin 66, and may be deteriorated by intrusion of liquid through a clearance. SOLUTION: In the thermocouple 10 having a protective outer sheath 65 made of fluorine resin, a coating part 16 covering the temperature measuring part 64 is formed of fluorine resin. The protective outer sheath 65 is sufficiently fitted to the cover part 16 and hardly causes a clearance. Accordingly, the intrusion of liquid is hardly caused. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
