The present invention relates to a ballot counting and examining system for an electronic vote and a method thereof. A ballot counting and examining system for an electronic vote according to the present invention comprises a ballot counting deck for acquiring image in¬ formation by imaging recording areas of roll-type poll-recording paper on which poll results of a plurality of voters have been consecutively printed, while feeding the poll-recording paper; a central control unit for reading the image information and converting the image information into data; and a display means for displaying the data thereon. According to the present invention, there is an advantage in that ballot counting can be very rapidly performed by imaging, at a high speed, poll-recording paper on which poll results of a number of voters have been consecutively printed, and converting an image into data.
