<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery enhancing safety, such as fire retardancy, without lowering battery performance. <P>SOLUTION: In the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery equipped with a positive electrode, a negative electrode, a separator, and a nonaqueous electrolyte, the positive electrode, the negative electrode, or the separator is allowed to contain an amido compound or an imido compound. Then, the amido compound or the imido compound has the structure of the amido compound or the imido compound obtained by allowing an amine compound having a hydroxyphenyl group expressed by general formula (I) to react with polymer monomer-hexamer having structure, where the polymer monomer-hexamer having structure in which maleic anhydride and α-olefin are copolymerized, or the maleic anhydride is subjected to graft polymerization to polyolefin. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
