PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which can prevent a fall of a zest in a game by preventing a presentation pattern from being dull and by stirring up the sense of interest of an expert. SOLUTION: The slot machine 1 is equipped with an operational mode recording means (an EEPROM 2009) to record an operational mode of a starting operation means (for example, a starting lever 26) or a stopping operation means (for example, stopping buttons 27a-27c) in a past game, wherein a winning line (for example, the line 1 to the line 5) as an effective line on which a combination of winning symbols can be complete is determined corresponding to the operational mode of the starting operation means or the stopping operation means recorded in the operational mode recording means when one role is won in a role drawing, and a stopping symbol pattern (for example, the pattern 1 to the pattern 5) visually recognized in a display window is determined corresponding to the operational mode of the starting operation means or the stopping operation means recorded in the operational mode recording means even when no role is won in the role drawing.
