The floorboard is produced by a method comprising the following steps: (1) providing a crude board having a rectangular cross-section and a wear layer applied on top of a support layer; (2) bevelling the length edges of the surface layer; and (3) continuing to machine the board length edges in order to create an upper tongue on one length side defining a downward-facing groove and a lower tongue on the other length side with defining an upward-facing groove, so that the upper tongue on board can be engaged with a lower tongue on an adjacent board via a form-fit connection. |
