<p>A constant voltage supplying method for a compressor of an air conditioner is provided to prevent an overload caused by an overvoltage or a low voltage by supplying a voltage of a predetermined range to a compressor, thereby protecting the compressor. In a constant voltage supplying method for a compressor of an air conditioner, a voltage sensing part senses an input voltage supplied to a compressor(S3). The sensed input voltage value is compared with preset required input voltage values input to a microcomputer(S4). If the sensed input voltage value is in the range of the preset required input voltage values, the input voltage is supplied to a compressor. In the other case, a display part displays an input voltage error and operation of the compressor is stopped to protect the compressor. Further, the input voltage value is compensated to a voltage value in the request input voltage value range before to be supplied to the compressor(S4-S6).</p> |
