摘要 #CMT# #/CMT# The method involves washing a frayed raw wool fiber by successive passages in washing modules (5-10) with rotating drums. The drums are driven in a same rotational direction around a common rotation axis and communicated between them by an inlet and transfer unit formed in lateral flanges of the drum. The fibers are transferred automatically from one module to another by an inversion of rotational direction of the drum. A fire retardant and/or bactericide and/or fungicide treatment is carried out for washing fibers and drying fibers. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a washing equipment for the implementation of a fibrous material washing method. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used in an equipment, for washing and treating fibrous materials of animal and vegetal origin such as a feather, hemp fiber, linen, coco, cotton, textile, sheep`s wool (claimed) which are used in a textile industry, automobile industry and in a building with acoustic and thermal insulation. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The fibers are transferred automatically from one module to another by the inversion of rotational direction of the drum, thus not necessitating operators for the wool transfer operations between washing posts which permit to automate the washing method. The method necessitates only two to three persons for monitoring and maintaining the equipment and for implementing the washing method. The drums of the washing module communicates between them, thus permitting to improve the washing of the wool fibers while reducing the quantity of water and the washing products used, and hence reducing the risk of pollution associated with the cleaning of the animal wool. The drums are driven in rotation independently with respect to each other, thus permitting to vary the time of washing in each module according to the quantity and quality of the wool introduced in the module. The method uses recycled water for pre-washing of the woolen fibers, thus consuming less water and washing agents, and hence facilitating the implementation cost while increasing the productivity.
